Daniel's Bio

Hunting has been a passion for Daniel since he was a young boy. As a teenager, it was a dream of Daniels to become a hunting guide. After high-school graduation, Daniel moved away to Alberta and for an apprenticeship in pipefitting. However, his love for the outdoors was still a priority – he would use his vacation time in the Fall to travel to the Yukon as a big-game hunting guide.

As life progressed, Daniel’s love for Newfoundland remained, and he moved back home, where he continues his passion for hunting and guiding for Grand Lake Adventures. Daniel has over ten years of big-game guiding experience. In the hunting off-season, he guides Kayaking and hiking, and all things outdoors.

Daniel has many hobbies and interests such as fishing, trapping, Kayaking, camping and archery, anything outside enjoying all of God’s creation. Daniel prides himself in his knowledge and experience for archery and teaching new archers about proper form, techniques, and tuning with a bow and arrow.

If you’re hunting or in the outdoors with Daniel, you will for sure learn a few pro-tips on big-game animal habits or behaviors, and be taught many things about the birds, animals, and vegetation of the native land.

His knowledge and determination will help your success, and hunting dreams become a reality.
